Set up special recognition for significant work anniversary milestones.

Milestone Anniversaries

Confetti Bot can give extra-special recognition when team members hit significant work anniversary milestones like 1, 5, 10, 15, or 20 years.

How Milestones Work

Milestone anniversaries are automatically detected based on the team member’s hire date. When a milestone year arrives, Confetti Bot can:

  • Use a special message template different from your regular anniversary message
  • Display a unique celebration card designed for the milestone
  • Help your team recognize long-tenured team members with the appreciation they deserve

Configuring Milestone Messages

You can set up separate message templates for milestone years:

  1. Open the Confetti Bot Home tab in Slack
  2. Under “Message & Design Customizations”, click Customize Anniversary
  3. Configure your milestone-specific templates

Use the {{years}} variable (e.g., “5 years”) or {{years_number}} variable (e.g., “5”) to reference the number of years in your message.

Example Milestone Messages

5-year milestone:

What an incredible milestone! {{name}} has been with us for {{years}}! Thank you for everything you bring to the team.

10-year milestone:

A decade with us! Congratulations {{name}} on {{years}} of making a difference. Here's to many more!

Milestone Celebration Images

Milestone celebrations can include special card designs that are different from regular anniversary images. You can customize these designs from the Customize Anniversary section on the Home tab.
