Managing App Admins
Learn how to add and remove Confetti Bot administrators in your workspace.
Managing App Admins
Confetti Bot admins can configure settings, manage team member data, connect HRIS systems, and customize messages. The person who installs Confetti Bot is automatically set as the first admin.
Viewing Admins
- Open the Confetti Bot Home tab in Slack
- Under “Settings & Admin”, click View App Admins
- See the list of all current admins
Adding Admins
- Go to View App Admins from the Home tab
- Add a new admin by selecting a Slack user
- The new admin will immediately have full access to all Confetti Bot settings
Removing Admins
- Go to View App Admins from the Home tab
- Remove an admin from the list
- They will lose access to admin features immediately
Note: You cannot remove the last remaining admin. There must always be at least one admin for the workspace.
What Admins Can Do
- Configure posting settings (timezone, posting time, channels, weekend handling)
- Manage team member data (add, edit, delete, import CSV)
- Connect and manage HRIS integrations
- Customize celebration messages and card designs
- Preview and test celebrations
- Add or remove other admins
